Although you may love red meats, you can enjoy seafood and nuts for the main sources of protein instead of red meat, which is unhealthy for a person to eat large amounts of especially when you have heart problems. Monounsaturated fats like olive oil helps protect your heart. Olive oil is ideal for cooking, dressing, or even as a dip.</p>

<p>Stay away from sugary foods like candy, cakes, pastries and sweet foods. Eating lots of sugar is not good, for anyone and it is double for a person with heart disease. Healthy carbohydrates involve whole grain breads, whole-wheat pasta, brown rice and many vegetables. You should fruits and vegetables, the bulk of the diet.</p>

<p>Stir and cook for frying olive oil or rapeseed oil are two ways that do not dip your food in batter and fry again. If cooking the chicken, remove skin and bake it in parchment paper.
